Great value-for-money with stunning river and mountain views from spacious Japanese-style rooms. Exceptional service from extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Clean hotel with calm atmosphere and wonderful onsen and sauna. Buffet meals with bountiful selection of traditional Japanese and Western breakfast.

Everything is what we need and want.

I like the anime “Ghost Slayer” and the indoor view resembled one scene of the animation. It’s just beautiful. The hotel is located in a quite place where the view is spectacular. The onsen is grwat too.

Found a hair in my food! 3 staff came to apologise sincerely. Food safety is a big issue in Japan so I actually expected more compensation, but I was trying to be reasonable at the time. Anyway apology was accepted so I guess case is settled.

Located in the beautiful Fukushima area, this hotel might not be easily accessible by bus from the train station, but it is worth the effort. Rooms are elegantly furnished and spacious, with attached bathrooms. the onsen features individual baths as well as multi-tiered rotemburo outdoor sections with stunning river and mountain views. Buffet meals include local specialties, live cooking events, and a combination of Japanese and Western options. Friendly staff and shuttle service make for a perfectly relaxing experience.

    The restaurant might be small.

Splendid escape. Luxurious rooms with great views. the resort is set in a beautiful location, surrounded by lush green hills. the rooms are spacious and luxurious, with wonderful views. the onsen is an absolute must, visit with its unique multi, tiered rotemburo. the staff were friendly, attentive and very helpful.

Limited Wi, Fi. Crowded restaurants. the lack of Wi, Fi in the rooms was a bit of a challenge.

Loved my stay at this traditional Japanese resort. The rooms were cozy and had a great view of the surrounding area. The onsen was a highlight, especially the outdoor terraced section with stunning scenery. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even though their English wasn't the best. But that didn't take away from the authentic experience of staying at a ryokan.

The lack of English-speaking staff did make it a bit difficult at times, especially when it came to dietary restrictions. , the wifi was only available in certain areas and not in the rooms, which was a bit inconvenient.
